Great Ext JS meetup in SF with the Ext crew

Just got back from a nice meetup where about 8 Ext developers showed up. Pretty unexpected as this group normally doesn’t get more than 10-15 guys per meetup. We had hoped to get maybe 1-2 Ext devs to come to the meetup but getting 8 Ext devs is more than any meetup could hope for . Present were also some true Ext enthusiasts such as Peter Kellner (who also took the great pictures below), Emil Schutte, Allen Liu and Mark Erdmann – pretty sweet.

Very interesting things were on the agenda:

• Fresh Calendar widget, presented by Allen Liu
• Selenium testing with Ext JS, presented by Mark Erdmann
• ReadFresh.com which is a really cool site made by Emil Schutte.
• I gave a demo of the Ext Scheduler and the upcoming Ext Gantt
• Abe & Aaron talked about some of the upcoming Ext stuff in 2010 which is yet to be announced. VERY interesting I must say

All in all a great night, next meetup will be hosted by Ext in their offices. You should really try to make it there!
